Do your squats.
I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking to do curls, I can tell you I don’t have the need. But what I do have are a very particular set of legs; legs I have acquired from working them out in the gym. Legs that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you stop curling in my squat rack now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will squat you.
This is most likely fake as it’s popped up on 4chan, reddit and bb.com, but it still drives the point home.

Kane Sumabat: 60sets x 5reps for squats while eating Krispy Kreme donuts.
Here’s the description from his YouTube page.
Goal was to perform 60 sets of squats in 60 min and eat krispy kreme between each set. We did only 5 reps with one plate per side. While I was able to perform all the squats… only managed to eat 7 krispy kremes. This is only the first 12 minutes…
I should also mention that Kane is, obviously, a supporter of an IIFYM philosophy to eating/dieting and eats poptarts on the regular.
“Nothing bothers me worse than watching people with horrible form teach impressionable beginners horrible form. That’s why there’s so many 1/4 squatters in the world. Do your part to stop Squat Depth Dysmorphia.”
Happy Squaturday!
Squats. Do them.
Form > Weight
Get deep and get strong.
Put your ego aside and train with the emphasis on proper form.
This study shows that using a lighter weight with full range of motion yields more strength gains than training with a higher weight and a bigger ego.
Stop the 1/4 squats and get deep for maximum results.
Happy Squaturday!
Have you done your squats? If you haven’t done them yet this week then today is as good a day as any other to get them done. Please don’t neglect this highly important exercise regardless of the type of training you are currently involved in.
The barbell squat is one of the most complete exercises that can be performed. Not only will you be targeting the major muscles of your legs like quadriceps, hamstrings and glutes, but performing heavy squats are also a core stabilization movement so you will be hitting those abs in a major way.
There is no reason why you should NOT be doing squats.
Here are some helpful tips for squats:

“Very few movements require the same degree of dedication, desire and determination as heavy squats. Squats are more than a physical strength builder and may be the only movement that builds a person’s character. Life is about standing up AFTER a heavy load takes you down.”
- Dave Tate
Happy Squaturday!
Make sure if you haven’t gotten under that bar to do some squats that you do so today. Come, enjoy the DOMS with the rest of us. Get deep!
Squat Setup Tutorial
Are you not exactly sure on how to set-up for your barbell squats? Afraid of squatting heavy? This is, by far, the best video tutorial I have seen on a proper setup for barbell squatting. Let Matt and Sioux-z from Supreme Sports Performance take your fears away and answer your questions on proper setup form.
The absolute only thing I disagree with is that Matt says the squat is the king of exercises. Whereas squats are extremely important I actually believe them to be the queen sitting side-by-side with the reigning king, The Deadlift. There is no substitute for the deadlift and no exercise (outside of the squat) that I feel works every part of you more effectively.
I implore you to watch this video on squat setup to make sure that you are putting yourself in a position to squat risk free and to be able to squat heavier. Your quads and core will thank you.

Know it.
Squat.
It’s Squaturday.
Go heavy. Deep or it doesn’t count. Form, form, form.
You know what to do. Now get it done.
Let’s do this.
