You guys want to know what all ‘genetically gifted’ people have in common? They probably didn’t spend more than five minutes of their entire life worrying about what their genetics were like. Think about it. And no, it’s not just because they had great genetics. They work and work and work and work. Do I think I have terrible genetics? No, but I always get a chuckle out of people who try to dismiss everything as good genetics. Those are the people who never get anywhere because they resign themselves to the fact that they don’t have the ‘genetics’ when in reality they are the same people who would never dedicate themselves to a decade of hard work either. Funny thing about genetics is they tend to improve the longer and harder you work.
