With Persistence
Persist, and small actions lead to big results. Persist, and you make time work in your favor.
If you give up after the first or second attempt, your level of success will be mediocre at best. When you persist for as long as it takes, you’re able to create magnificent, outstanding achievements.
Persistence is not a complicated or inaccessible strategy. All you have to do is choose to keep...

Don't Listen To Magazines pt. 2
These are tweets by Scott Welch, the owner of the magazine Muscle Insider. This magazine, Muscle Insider, is apparently the #1 Canadian bodybuilding magazine.
It is also apparently full of more broscience than you can even imagine. If the owner of the magazine believes this stuff and has never done his research I can’t even begin to guess what would be published on the inner pages.
SCOTT...

Stop Talking About Bodyfat
“What’s your body fat dude?”
“What’s my body fat at?”
“So what bodyfat should I get to?”
This has got to go!!
Be it if you are trying to compete in a bodybuilding show, gain the notoriety from the opposite sex, or just look good for your upcoming vacation. Nobody is going to look at you, point and say “WOW! Check out his 5.62934% bodyfat!” Truth is you are either in shape or not, and aiming...

Alan Aragon Interviewed by Wisconsin’s Polytechnic... →
Are there ‘bad’ foods and ‘good’ foods? And is it ok to eat a donut?
First let me thank you for the opportunity to reach the students here. Answering the question, labeling foods as “good” or “bad” is a false endeavor from the start, mainly because it ignores context. All foods in isolation can’t be judged without knowing their proportional contribution to the diet. Even seemingly “bad” foods...

If it fits your macros?
dietmortik0:
I’ve seen that sentence thrown around the tumblr before. Does anyone use this? I’m having issues with food, and I need to eat incredibly better. If anyone knows anything about this, please send me an ask.
(Or give me tips on how to eat better lol)
Thanks!

“The better you get, the less you run around showing off as a muscle guy. You know, you wear regular shirts, loose shirts-not always trying to show what you have. You talk less about it. It’s like you have a little BMW-you want to race the hell out of this car, because you know it’s going 110. But if you see a guy in a Ferrari or Lamborghini, they slide around at 60 on...

The Truth About Dieting →
by Adam Bornstein
If I was smarter when I was a young health journalist, I probably would have eaten more cake. It’s tasty, I like it, and the infrequent indulgence could have served as the personal experiment I needed to better understand what it takes to be healthy.
When I first started in this industry, I spent more than 10 years educating myself with an overly complicated view of what it...

You Gain More Strength By Training Properly →
Put your ego aside and train with the emphasis on proper form.
This study shows that using a lighter weight with full range of motion yields more strength gains than training with a higher weight and a bigger ego.
Stop the 1/4 squats and get deep for maximum results.

Dear Internet Fitness Community,
